Share a Glass

🍷In the kitchen, Eric could barely keep a straight face while he busied himself adding the tranquilizer to Peter’s wine glass. He brought it and a full bottle of the Cabernet back to the table and set it down in front of him. Peter graciously took a healthy sip of the wine from his glass, poured another glass of wine from the bottle, and placed it on the table where Eric was to sit.

What seemed to be just moments, Eric was thrilled when the sedative in Peter’s wine finally began to work. He smiled as he saw Peter simply drop his fork and slowly slump to one side of his chair and then finally collapse hard onto the floor. Eric sauntered over to the body and felt for a pulse. The pulse was weak, but there was one. It was Eric’s own heart rate that had suddenly begun to race.....
